Six Degrees Search is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join its accounting and credit operations team in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on supporting commercial customer accounts, ensuring accurate billing and documentation, and resolving payment issues.

Ideal candidates will have AR/billing experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems. This onsite position offers full-time employment with growth opportunities in a busy commercial environment.

Competenze

• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, credit support, or related accounting functions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to research discrepancies and communicate effectively with customers and internal departments.
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with lien waivers, customer deposits, or tax exemption certificates is a plus.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, construction, or other commercial business environments is helpful.

• Maintain commercial customer accounts and assist with day-to-day accounts receivable activities.
• Research billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer account adjustments.
• Prepare, review, and maintain lien waivers, tax exemption certificates, and other customer documentation.
