Midwest Physician Group (MPG) is hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable Biller for a multi-specialty physician organization in the Kansas City area. This is a remote role with onsite training at our Overland Park, KS office during the initial period, followed by a remote schedule with occasional onsite meetings.

The ideal candidate will handle unpaid claims, denials, and reimbursements, ensuring accurate patient billing and HIPAA-compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing or accounts receivable preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance billing, claims processing, and reimbursement.
• Experience with commercial insurance and Medicare.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments.

Accounts Receivable Medical Biller/ Multi-Specialty Physician Group

Midwest Physician Group (MPG) is a growing multi-specialty physician organization dedicated to supporting independent physicians and clinics while providing the resources, technology, and operational support needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable to join our Billing Team!

REMOTE POSITION – ONSITE TRAINING REQUIRED

This is a remote position with the opportunity to work from home once training has been successfully completed.

Onsite training is required during the initial training period.

Training will take place at our Overland Park, Kansas office to ensure new team members receive the hands-on training and support needed to be successful in the position.

Following completion of training, this position will transition to a remote work schedule, with occasional onsite meetings or training as needed.

An A/R Biller is responsible for managing outstanding insurance claims, following up on unpaid balances, resolving claim denials, and helping ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for our physician practices.

The ideal candidate has experience with medical billing, understands insurance reimbursement processes, and enjoys working independently to identify and resolve outstanding accounts.
