Disposal Partners is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager at our New Jersey Corporate Office in Roseland. You will manage all A/R activities, oversee collections for residential and commercial accounts, and collaborate across departments to resolve payment issues.

The role focuses on minimizing risk and improving DSO while ensuring contracts are signed where needed. The candidate will prepare aging reports, monitor payment histories, and implement effective collection strategies, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and collections.
• Experience with aging reports, credit evaluation, and payment reconciliation.

Responsabilités

• Manage and monitor all Accounts Receivable activity to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing and payments.
• Oversee collections for residential and commercial customers.
• Contact delinquent accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence to arrange payment and resolve disputes.
• Evaluate customer payment histories and determine appropriate collection strategies.
• Place delinquent accounts on stop service in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare and maintain aging reports, payment records, and collection notes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve billing or service-related issues impacting payment.
• Recommend accounts for escalation, write-off, or legal action when necessary.
• Develop and enforce credit and collection policies to minimize risk and improve DSO.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to management on collection status and trends.
• Confirm customers have a signed contract, if not contact customers and facilitate signing of service contracts.
