Job summary

Mains'l Services, Inc in Omaha is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee billing and collections, ensure timely payments, and maintain compliant financial processes. The role partners with finance and operations to optimize cash flow and reporting.

Key duties include entering authorizations, reconciling GL to billed services, posting payments, and resolving aged accounts. A healthcare billing background and strong Excel skills are preferred to support accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in finance preferred.
• 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• 1-2 years of medical billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and practices.
• Technical computer experience, especially in Excel.
• Strong collaboration in a team-friendly atmosphere.
• Innovative with system enhancements and process improvements.
• Effective communicator, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Enter service authorizations.
• Maintain company record keeping standards.
• Create reports to ensure submitted claims are accurately billed.
• Print and enter service authorizations.
• Check eligibility for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding authorizations, eligibility, payroll discrepancies, and billing errors as needed.
• Coordinate with Accounting Manager to perform account reconciliation between the General Ledger and billed services.
• Post payments to accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding aged accounts.
• Data entry.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure service authorizations are accurate for reimbursement.
• Coordinate with our systems vendor for any fixes, changes or improvements needed for billing.

Mains'l Services, Inc . is growing and we will be adding a second Accounts Receivable Managerto work within in our finance team, supporting the oversight of all aspects of the billings and collections process to ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments owed to the organization. This role will have the opportunity to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, administer financial program, and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Salary

$63,000.00-$73,100.00/ year

Work schedule

Hybrid work environment- In office Tuesdays and Thursdays half days for deposits.

Job Duties Include
