Job summary

Rycon Construction, Inc. seeks an Accounts Receivable Junior Accountant for our Pittsburgh office. You will manage project billings, schedule of values, and progress billing in coordination with project managers to ensure timely monthly closings.

Assist with routine financial reporting, close-out activities, and discrepancies. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality, is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with data entry and ERP systems is a plus.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue project billings for assigned projects, including schedule of values, pay applications, and progress billings.
• Conduct meetings with project managers to understand billing requirements and resolve issues.
• Post project billings and billing adjustments in the ERP system.
• Maintain organized project financial records including billing support and lien waiver tracking.
