Job Description:

Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist

Location: Remote (EST or CST zones only)

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to join our Accounting team. This full-time remote position is responsible for managing accounts receivable aging, conducting credit reviews for new and existing customers, and ensuring timely and accurate invoice submissions through customer portals. This role is vital in maintaining healthy cash flow and fostering strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
• Perform credit evaluations and approvals for new and existing customers.
• Upload invoices and related documentation to customer portals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system (e.g., NetSuite).
• Prepare and distribute AR aging reports and assist in cash flow forecasting.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit analysis, or related roles.
• Experience with NetSuite and customer portal platforms.
• Experience in both commercial and federal sectors.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
