Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a national law firm headquartered in Chicago, seeks an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to manage client balances and improve cash flow. The role collaborates with billing attorneys, practice group leaders, and management to reduce aged receivables and support financial objectives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AR or legal billing experience, proficiency with Aderant CMS, ARCS/ODDR, and Excel, and a track record in a large professional services environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AR/collections experience, preferably in a legal environment.
• Experience with Aderant CMS, ARCS/ODDR, and Excel.
• Law firm or professional services experience is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Meet with assigned attorneys to review aged receivables and develop collection action plans.
• Identify patterns that affect billing and collections and propose solutions.
• Monitor invoice status (e-billing or traditional) and document A/R and unbilled inventory.
• Follow up with clients to maintain professional relationships while pursuing timely payments.
• Escalate high-risk or aged accounts to Finance leadership with recommendations.
