Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Collections Specialist/Accounts Receivable Representative for our Northeast Regional team. This full-time, on-site role is based at our Linthicum, MD call center, offering an hourly rate of $19.00-$20.00 plus potential bonuses.

The ideal candidate will have a billing specialist background with accounting, accounts receivable, and collections experience and will support timely invoicing, payment tracking, and accurate financial

Qualifications

• Demonstrated prior experience in accounts receivable accounting is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A working knowledge of various common software programs.
• Self-starter who is organized, thorough with attention to detail & follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing for invoices.
• Manage accounting transactions to report and manage receivable and revenue accounts.
• Input data into the AS400 system for record-keeping.
• Adhere to accounts receivable processes to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Proactively monitor the payment status of all completed jobs to ensure timely payments.
• Complete reports and update the General Manager on status of AR’s.
• Contact customers with delinquent accounts and communicate terms of payment.
