Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AR and collections, strong Excel skills, and experience with installment receivables, ACH/wire processing, and confidential information handling.

Responsibilities

• Process payoffs and closures with Treasury and Accounting.

A well capitalized company is looking for a detail-driven AR & Collections Accountant to own the full receivables cycle and keep customer accounts accurate, current, and well-documented.

What you'll do:

• Own the accounts receivable cycle — payment application, account maintenance, and reconciliation
• Manage collections on past-due accounts: proactive outreach, follow-up, and payment coordination
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and account issues
• Prepare AR aging reports, statements, account histories, and payoff quotes
• Process account payoffs and closures, coordinating with Treasury and Accounting to confirm funds
• Respond to customer inquiries on balances, due dates, interest, fees, and account history
• Support month-end close, audits, and documentation requests
