Job summary

A leading company in furniture and mattresses is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join their team. This full-time position involves daily reconciliation of credit card receipts, maintaining financial records, and processing refunds. Successful candidates will hold an accounting degree and have at least 3 years of experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

Description

This position requires a talented and passionate individual to assist and work with the Accounts Receivable team. The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for the daily reconciliation of credit card receipts using various Excel functions, maintaining an Excel file of daily amounts, and processing credit card refunds.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Obtain daily funding files and reconcile bank activity using Excel. Candidate should have a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel.
• Maintain Excel files with daily Accounts Receivable numbers.
• Process credit card refunds.
• As required by changing business needs, complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Adhere to Company privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.

Education:

An Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, or the equivalent combination of education and training preferred.

Experience & Background:

Minimum of 3 years previous accounting or accounts receivable experience preferred. Candidate should have a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel.

Reports to: Accounts Receivable Manager as a full time on site position
