Job summary

Sysco, a leader in foodservice distribution, seeks an AR Clerk in Ohio to process and post customer invoices and payments within the finance department. You will handle invoice reconciliations, apply payments, and support monthly AR reporting while collaborating with the sales team on collections and balances.

This is an entry-level role with potential growth in accounting. Candidates should have a HS diploma and at least 1 year accounting knowledge; familiarity with Excel and Word is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; bachelor's or associate degree in finance or accounting preferred
• 1 year accounting knowledge preferred
• Excellent Excel and Word skills
• Strong communication with customers and sales teams

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer invoices and payments
• Receive, reconcile, and process customer invoices
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Apply cash/checks to customer accounts
• Print, email customer AR statements
• Prepare AR reporting (monthly, ad hoc)
• Collaborate with sales on balances and collections
• Assist accounting/finance as needed
• Other tasks assigned by financial lead
