Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist in Greensboro, NC to support cash flow by collecting outstanding balances. The role uses SAP and related systems, aligns with Credit Management for posting, holds/releases, reporting, and compliance.

The position requires 2+ years in AR/credit collections, proficiency in SAP, and solid analytical/communication skills. Associates degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting using a computerized matching system.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit and collections.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, credit management, collections, and basic accounting principles.
• Basic understanding of legal requirements related to accounts receivable collections.
• Proficiency in SAP financial systems and credit management tools.
• Working knowledge of PLQ, BPM, On Demand, and Share Drive AR systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer-based financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends, prepare reports, and resolve account issues.
• Effective negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by email and phone to collect overdue balances using established pre-dunning and dunning procedures.
• Follow credit management guidelines and applicable collection requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and update collection reports to track account status and collection progress.
• Analyze customer accounts using SAP tools and financial reporting systems to support Credit Management activities.
• Review aged accounts receivable balances, identify potential risks, and prepare risk analysis reports.
• Support accurate posting and reconciliation of incoming customer payments.
• Maintain credit holds and process credit releases in accordance with established procedures.
• Generate and review system reports related to accounts receivable and credit management.
• Identify collection trends, investigate account discrepancies, and support timely issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and follow applicable policies and procedures.

Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist supports cash flow and liquidity by managing timely collection of outstanding customer balances. This role performs collection activities, analyzes aging reports, identifies credit risks, and maintains accurate accounts receivable records using SAP and related financial systems.
