Job summary

Liebherr USA is hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst I/II to manage AR, credit and collections duties in Newport News, VA. The role involves processing cash receipts, addressing past due accounts, and coordinating payment plans with management.

Responsibilities include preparing statements, monthly reports, and ensuring accuracy in invoicing via GetPaid. Travel is minimal; authorized applicants only, with benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant accounting experience for Analyst I.
• High School Diploma and 4 years of relevant accounting experience for Analyst II.

Responsibilities

• Collect past due accounts and discuss payment plans or write-offs.
• Analyze and input cash receipts.
• Follow up on discrepancies and missing remittances.
• Check and release orders for customers who have exceeded credit limits.
• Prepare monthly statements and reports on past due accounts.
• Use GetPaid to issue invoices and credits.
• Assist AR team as needed.
• Reconcile affiliated balances quarterly using LIN ICS/SAB.
• Run EDI for affiliate invoices and support the netting process.

The Accounts Receivable Analyst position is responsible for Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections functions.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties

Accounts Receivable Analyst I:

• Collects on past due accounts, consults with AR Manager to discuss payment plans and write offs and legal pursuits.
• Analyzes and inputs cash receipts.
• Follows up with customers on discrepancies, partial payments, missing remittances, and other issues that arise.
• Checks and releases orders for customers who have exceeded credit line.
• Prepare monthly statements.
• Prepares monthly report on status of past due accounts and holds monthly meetings with divisional management to share the results.
• Emails, reviews, mails (when necessary), and files invoices and credits utilizing GetPaid.
• Requests checks of customer credit and sets up new customer accounts.
• Answers accounts receivable inquiries and follows-up.
• Backs up other Accounts Receivable Specialists(s) when needed.

Accounts Receivable Analyst II:

• Collects on past due accounts, establishes alternative payment plans, and recommends write-offs and legal pursuits.
• Analyzes and inputs cash receipts.
• Follows up with customers on discrepancies, partial payments, missing remittances, and other issues that arise.
• Checks and releases orders for customers who have exceeded credit line.
• Prepare monthly statements.
• Prepares monthly report on status of past due accounts and holds monthly meetings with divisional management to share the results.
• Reconciles Affiliated Balances quarterly utilizing the LIN ICS/SAB system.

Competencies

Education and Experience:

• Accounts Receivable Analyst I: High School Diploma and two years’ experience of applicable accounting work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accounts Receivable Analyst II: High School Diploma and four years’ experience of applicable accounting work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Additional Requirements:

• Travel domestically up to 5% of the time.
• Additional language requirements may be required dependent on customer base.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Pay Range

• Level 1:$54,000.00 - $64,000.00
• Level 2: $65,000.00 - $73,000.00
