Job summary

Mission Staffing partners with a leading credit hedge fund in NYC to hire an Accounts Payable AVP/VP. The role offers a direct path to senior finance leadership, with visibility to the CFO and room for growth.

• Proven experience in accounts payable within financial services required.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail essential.
• Ability to interact with CFO and senior management.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end AP for fund and management company payables.
• Invoice processing, vendor onboarding, weekly ACH/wire pay runs, and expense allocation across funds and subsidiaries.
• Monthly AP close, GL reconciliations, prepayments/accruals, and year-end 1099 reporting.
• Key reporting and reconciliations delivered directly to the CFO.
