Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager in Dallas, TX to lead and transform the AP function within a large organization. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include stabilizing and building the AP team, implementing Oracle Cloud Financials, RPA and AI to streamline workflows, and ensuring SOX compliance across a high-volume vendor base.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive AP experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials is a must.
• Experience managing high invoice volume and a complex vendor base in a large company.
• Knowledge of 1099/1042 tax reporting and vendor compliance.
• Experience with SOX controls and SOX compliance.
• Demonstrated success in finance transformation including RPA and AI implementations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete accounts payable process including PO/Non-PO, payment execution, and vendor master management.
• Manage AP staff onshore and offshore, providing training and guidance.
• Ensure SOX controls and vendor compliance processes are in place.
• Lead AP transformation initiatives involving RPA, Oracle enhancements, and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve scalability.
• Participate in strategic planning and management-level decision-making.
