Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, invoice, voucher, and payment processes.
• Ability to review and approve financial transactions accurately.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with financial management and procurement systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Operational Support: act as backup to Accounts Payable Supervisor; oversee daily AP operations and ensure timely processing.
• Team Coordination and Customer Service: manage inquiries, assign tasks, respond to vendor questions, and train staff.
• Accounts Payable Processing: review transactions, create receipts, assist during high volume, support year-end activities, resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: ensure adherence to policies, maintain records, monitor controls and assist in SOP development.
