Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in accounts payable operations.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, and supplier payment issue resolution.
• Experience managing aged items and reconciling high-volume payables activity to deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage internal partners and external suppliers.
• Analytical skills to interpret financial data and support data-informed decisions.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Guide daily accounts payable activities supporting suppliers, vendors, commissions, and programs.
• Oversee reconciliations across supplier activity, vendor statements, commissions, and other payables balances.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, including short payments, overpayments, credits, and unmatched transactions.
• Monitor aged accounts payable balances and guide timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Complete monthly reconciliations within established accounting deadlines.
• Maintain effective financial and operational controls across accounts payable processes.
• Perform quality reviews of reconciliation work and team activity for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain documented SOPs, control evidence, and audit support materials.
• Escalate material variances and aged items per thresholds.
• Allocate daily workload based on volume and priority.
• Coach and develop associates through training and feedback.
