Job summary

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Master Specialist (Accounts Payable) to manage and maintain supplier records for a large, high-volume vendor population. This fully remote/hybrid role requires precision, organization, and the ability to meet SLAs while supporting a busy AP function.

In this position, you will maintain supplier data in the Master database, process vendor updates, conduct 1099 year-end prep, and communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with supplier master or vendor maintenance.
• Knowledge of 1099 reporting processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of vendor data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate supplier and vendor records in the Supplier Master database.
• Process vendor updates, including banking and account information.
• Perform duplicate TIN reviews, bulk TIN matching, and year-end 1099 prep.
• Ensure supplier information remains accurate throughout the year.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal locations to resolve discrepancies.
• Review and clean up older vendor records and adjust codes as needed.
• Support maintenance of ~10,000 active vendor accounts and ~2,400 employee/petty cash accounts.
• Update desktop procedures and documentation as policies change.
• Complete assigned requests accurately within SLAs.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Master Specialist (Accounts Payable) to manage and maintain supplier records for a large, high-volume vendor population. This fully remote position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and the ability to meet established service-level expectations. This position is hybrid and will pay between $21 and $23/hr. This position is also temp to hire.

Job Duties

• Maintain accurate supplier and vendor records within the Supplier Master database.
• Process vendor updates, including banking and other account information.
• Perform duplicate TIN reviews, bulk TIN matching, and year-end preparation for 1099 reporting.
• Ensure supplier information remains accurate and current throughout the year.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal locations to resolve discrepancies and obtain required information.
• Review and clean up older vendor records, including category code and account adjustments.
• Support maintenance of approximately 10,000 active vendor accounts and 2,400 employee/petty cash accounts.
• Update desktop procedures and documentation as policies and processes change.
• Complete assigned requests accurately and within established SLAs.
