Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our AP team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The role focuses on accurate invoice processing, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement within a growing gas utility.

The Supervisor will coordinate with Procurement, Treasury, Engineering, and IT, and will help implement SAP S4/Hana and other systems while ensuring internal controls and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• At least five years’ experience in accounts payable, with two years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the AP team and ensure invoices are processed accurately.
• Monitor performance, coach and develop team members.
• Lead implementation and testing of new financial systems and tools.
