Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. in Fort Smith, AR, is seeking an experienced Supervisor of Accounts Payable to lead the A/P team and ensure accurate, timely invoice processing in a fast-growing utility environment.

You'll manage system implementations (SAP S4/Hana, Oracle, Concur), enforce internal controls, drive process improvements, and collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, and IT to support cash forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in accounts payable, with 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, and Concur a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily AP activities and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Coach team members and manage workload distribution.
• Implement and support new AP systems and tools (SAP S4/Hana, Oracle, Concur).
• Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance (IRS 1099, unclaimed property).
• Prepare audit documentation and monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
