The ideal candidate will bring hands-on AP experience, Excel proficiency, and knowledge of Workday or similar ERP systems. Maritime industry experience is a plus, and the team collaborates across departments to support month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred; 5+ years AP experience with GL is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and GL accounting.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems.
• Experience in high-volume invoice processing; maritime industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 2–3 AP clerks.
• Manage daily workflow and high-volume invoice processing.
• Oversee invoice processing in electronic document management and ERP systems.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and payment issues while maintaining relationships.
• Assist with month-end close activities and journal entries as needed.
