Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices, check requests, and payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) accurately and promptly.
2. Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies, proper approvals, accurate tax calculations, and complete supporting documentation.
3. Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and certificates of insurance, and assist with vendor account analysis and negotiation of terms.
4. Oversee AP Aging reports, ensuring timely payments and maximizing discounts.
5. Support the month-end close process, including accruals, general ledger reconciliations, and account analyses.
6. Organize and maintain AP files, assist with audits by providing invoice pulls and reconciliations, and manage the preparation of annual 1099 forms.
7. Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all accounts payable operations.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of AP experience or Associate’s degree with 4+ years in accounts payable.
2. Prior Accounts Payable Supervisor experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
3. Proficiency in Accounts Payable or Accounting Systems software.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
