RWE Americas, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join the AP department. The role handles high volumes of invoices and supports pay cycles and month-end close, within a multi-unit environment.

The position requires a BS in finance or accounting and at least 2 years in finance, with SAP experience highly desired. This office-based role is in Illinois/New York with standard business hours.

Qualificações

• BS degree in finance, accounting or related discipline preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, regulations and procedures.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance with emphasis on account reconciliations preferred.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication with vendors and internal customers on AP discrepancies.

Responsabilidades

• Verify and post invoices and payment requests to SAP within established time standards.
• Review weekly aging reports to ensure posted invoices are paid timely.
• Review payment proposals to ensure all approved invoices are included in the payment run and address exceptions.
• Communicate with vendors and internal customers on AP discrepancies and issues.
• Ensure vendor banking is kept up to date in SAP.
• Perform month end close activities including AP accruals and resolving discrepancies.
