Job summary

HAND Property Management Co. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role is responsible for processing invoices for HPMC and HSL properties, coding entries, and posting daily batches. The ideal candidate will resolve discrepancies, coordinate with property managers, and assist with reports and training.

AA degree in accounting or business is preferred, or 2 years of AP experience. Proficiency in Excel and Word, and familiarity with Yardi are valued assets.

Qualifications

• AA degree preferred; 2 years accounts payable or related accounting experience required in lieu of degree.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; ability to perform 10-key by touch.

Responsibilities

• Receive invoices for HPMC and HSL properties and process them.
• Code invoices using the Chart of Accounts and post payable batches daily.
• Research and resolve discrepancies on invoices and vendor statements.
• Coordinate with Property Managers to resolve invoice issues.
• Provide accounts payable training to staff as needed.
• Back-up to Accounting Generalist for checks/invoices and mail duties.
• Generate special reports as requested and assist with projects.
