Job summary

City of Keller is seeking a Full Time Clerical Town Hall position in Keller, TX to support the accounts payable function. Under the direction of the CFO or finance supervisor, you will process invoices, payments, vendor records, and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in accounts payable or related finance functions. Experience with Tyler ERP/Incode is preferred, along with strong Microsoft Office skills

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and two years of progressively responsible experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting support, or related financial function.
• Accounting coursework or an associate degree and municipal accounts-payable experience are preferred.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, bookkeeping, account coding, purchasing processes, internal controls, and governmental accounting requirements.
• Must read, interpret, and follow applicable laws, policies, procedures, contracts, invoices, and other financial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Processes accounts-payable transactions, including invoices, credit memoranda, employee reimbursements, refunds, and other payment requests; ensures proper coding, documentation, budget availability, and approvals.
• Maintains vendor and payment records; reconciles vendor statements; responds to inquiries; researches and resolves payment discrepancies.
• Provides related Finance and purchasing support, including records management, tax reporting, fixed-asset identification, month-end/year-end activities, and audit documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
