The qualified candidate will assist in GL maintenance, vendor setup, and year-end 1099 processes, while maintaining compliance and internal controls in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting role.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions including bills, returns, and credit card charges with high accuracy.
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor questions promptly.
• Assist in reconciling monthly travel credit card statements.
• Prepare daily cash sheet and assist with General Ledger reclasses.
• Assist with new vendor setup and the annual 1099 process.
• Generate A/R statements for charges paid by the corporate office and support dealership inquiries.
• Maintain safekeeping of assets and comply with internal controls.
• Participate in required training and ensure attendance.
