Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day AP operations in Chicago, IL. You will ensure timely, accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments while upholding internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Workday. This on-site role includes medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance.
• 1–3 years of accounts payable or related finance experience.
• Experience with invoice processing and payment cycles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Workday).
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices promptly and accurately.
• Code invoices to GL accounts and cost centers.
• Match invoices to PO, receipts and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities and audit requests.
• Maintain documentation and respond to vendor inquiries.
