Goldfarb Properties is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance team in New Rochelle, NY. The role handles invoice processing, payments, and records maintenance in a fast-paced property management setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP or accounting, proficiency in Excel, and experience with Yardi or similar ERP systems. This full-time position offers strong benefits and growth potential within the finance department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s in accounting/finance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years accounts payable or general accounting experience, preferably in property management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Yardi or similar ERP; knowledge of Yardi PayScan and Vendor Café preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Responsabilités

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments.
• Maintain vendor records and update payment information as needed.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Code vendor invoices to the appropriate properties using AP allocation templates.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues.
• Support property accountants with monthly bank reconciliations, budget reviews, and related journal entries.
• Coordinate with accounts receivable to issue tenant security deposit refunds in a timely manner.
• Monitor COI expiration dates and ensure vendor insurance compliance.
• Communicate with vendors, property managers, and internal departments regarding invoice approvals and payment inquiries.
• File and maintain financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
