Job summary

Comar in Buena, NJ is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support Accounts Payable and related accounting activities at our onsite manufacturing facility. You will process vendor invoices, verify approvals, code costs, and prepare weekly payment runs by ACH, wire, and check.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and experience in a manufacturing environment or with ERP systems such as IQMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with IQMS or similar ERP system.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices for accurate approvals and coding.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Prepare weekly vendor payments via ACH, wire, and checks.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and assist month-end close.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain vendor records.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation.
