Catholic Community Services of Western Washington seeks an AP Specialist to join our accounting team in Seattle. This full-time role handles full-cycle accounts payable, data entry, payments, and credit card reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will work with program staff to code transactions correctly, support audits, and promote efficient AP processes. A non-profit background and GAAP knowledge are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• AA in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience with increasing responsibility.
• 2 to 4 years of progressive AP experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel functionality.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit fund accounting.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and enter data accurately in the accounting system.
• Import invoice payments from spreadsheets for monthly payments.
• Review invoices for proper coding, vendor, amounts, and descriptions.
• Reconcile agency credit card transactions and AP activity.
• Manage AP email box and escalate issues as needed.
• Support program staff with accurate coding and AP processes.
• Assist in annual audit preparation for accounts payable and payroll.
