Job summary

Accounting Search in Plymouth, MI seeks an Accounts Payable Associate with at least 6 months of experience to join our corporate accounting department. You will manage supplier payments, verify statements, and ensure timely processing in a fast-paced environment.

You will serve as the first point of contact for payment inquiries, maintain accurate coding, and support relationships with suppliers and carrier partners while upholding a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Six months of office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and invoice processing preferred.
• Able to learn various web-based software programs (MAS, OVISS, DMS).
• Transportation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve vouchers for payment and verify supplier statements.
• Route invoices, including the match, batch and coding.
• Review and issue supplier and brokerage payments.
• Serve as first point of contact for payment inquiries.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by supporting business operations and meeting company demands.
