Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a hands-on role with ownership over the full AP cycle. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV and capable of managing high-volume vendor invoicing with accuracy.

This onsite role in Niles, MI requires strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail, with responsibilities spanning payment processing, tax filings, and reporting to support the finance team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Strong understanding of the full AP cycle including PO and non-PO invoice processing.
• Experience preparing ACH and check payment batches.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process about 100 vendor invoices weekly, match to sales orders, allocate costs, route non-PO invoices for approval, and maintain vendor records in Business Central.
• Prepare ACH and check payment batches, process corporate credit card statements, research discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
• Complete monthly sales and use tax filings for multiple states using Vertex, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Generate monthly reports from Business Central via Excel exports and filters.
• Track wire payments for imported inventory and provide additional reporting support to the finance team.
