Job summary

Team Penske is seeking an Accounting Clerk to perform various general accounting support tasks within the Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow company procedures. Responsibilities include verifying invoices, updating accounting records, and maintaining databases.

This position requires a satisfactory background and credit check. A 2 Year Associate Degree in Accounting or relevant experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of accounting principles are necessary.

Qualifications

• Preferred - 2 Year Associate Degree in Accounting.
• Will consider experience in lieu of associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic office tasks, including answering phones and processing mail.
• Respond timely and appropriately with Vendors, Customers, and Internal Departments.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents.
• Update invoices and maintain accounting journals and ledgers.
• Prepare checks, electronic payments, and deposits.
