H2O Innovation is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Spring, TX area team. This full-time, in-office role focuses on processing supplier invoices, supporting accounting operations, and coordinating with remote Project Managers and Office Managers across the United States.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping. Excellent communication and independence are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, Bookkeeping or related financial role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely in the accounting system.
• Communicate with Project Managers and Office Managers to obtain invoice approvals.
• Research invoice issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor invoices awaiting approval and ensure timely payment.
• Verify invoices are approved before each payment run.
• Process monthly vendor statements and reconcile balances.
• Review employee expense reimbursements and reconcile reports.
• Provide backup support for payment processing and journal entries.
