Selectemp in Salem, OR is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a temp-to-hire role, on-site from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The position pays $20–$24 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities include three-way matching, coding invoices in QuickBooks/Service Titan, resolving discrepancies, assisting with bi-monthly payments, and maintaining vendor files. The role also supports month-end close and basic payroll duties as needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or purchasing/clerical support experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; advanced functions are a plus (VLOOKUP, pivots).

Company providing high efficient heating & cooling systems for homeowners and businesses in Salem, OR since 1946 has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for an Accounts Payable Clerk.

Job Title:

Accounts Payable Clerk Temp to Hire Monday-Friday from 8am - 5:00pm $20-24/hr DOE

What you'll do:

• Perform three-way matching by verifying vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Code and enter vendor invoices into Service Titan software with high accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing errors, or missing credits directly with vendors.
• Assist with the preparation of twice-monthly payment runs, including check processing.
• Maintain clean vendor files, including updated contact details, W-9 forms, and certificates of insurance.
• Support the Office Manager with month-end closing procedures and audit documentation as needed.

What you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or purchasing/clerical support.
• QuickBooks Online, or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; mid-to-advanced Excel experience is a strong plus (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data sorting).
• Prior experience working with ServiceTitan software is a plus.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and data entry accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional vendor relations.
