Job summary

Kelly in Saginaw, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a 4–6 month contract. You will process vendor payments, code and enter data, reconcile accounts, and respond to vendor inquiries to ensure timely financial operations.

The role requires 3+ years in AP or general accounting, an Associate degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with Great Plains and MS Office. Benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent accounting experience required.
• Experience with accounting software (Great Plains preferred) and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Process daily invoices and payments, including credit card transactions and reimbursements.
• Code and match invoices, maintain documentation and approvals.
• Reconcile accounts payable data and maintain vendor files (W-9s, 1099s).
• Prepare ACH disbursements and issue checks per policy.
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and auditor requests.
• Support general accounting needs and document best practices.
