Job summary

Optimas in Wood Dale, IL is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support all accounts payable functions and ensure timely processing with high accuracy.

The role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and requires attention to detail, organization, and proactive problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in NetSuite and/or Epicor ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of invoice processing, 3-way match, and vendor management best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review and enter invoices and credit memos timely and accurately.
• Reconcile vendor statements periodically vs our vendor ledger and investigate variances.
• Manage vendor relationships and build effective partnerships.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely manner.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies to identify root cause.
