Job summary

Optimas OE Solutions in Wood Dale, IL is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring timely, accurate processing and payment of vendor invoices.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least five years of AP experience in manufacturing, and proficiency with Excel; NetSuite and/or Epicor ERP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in NetSuite and/or Epicor ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of invoice processing, 3-way match, and vendor management best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process direct/indirect material invoices with 3-way match.
• Resolve material invoice queries from daily blocked invoice reports.
• Reconcile vendor statements with the ledger and investigate variances.
• Review weekly payment proposals to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Review AP aging and resolve aged items; manage bills and vendors on hold.
• Review outstanding prepayments and ensure timely resolution.
• Review open credits to obtain refunds or deductions from payments.
• Manage vendor relationships and build partnerships.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries promptly.

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Analyst will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and support all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring all deadlines are met with the highest degree of accuracy.

Areas of Impact

• Process direct/indirect material invoices carrying out the 3-way match principle
• Work with daily blocked invoice report to resolve material invoice queries and identify root causes.
• Reconcile vendor statements periodically vs our ledger and investigate variances
