Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Houston. You will process vendor invoices for multiple locations, perform 3-way matching, and ensure timely payments while upholding internal controls.

This role requires at least 3 years AP experience, proficiency with SAP Business One and MS Office tools. We offer a hybrid work arrangement at our Greens Road site in Houston, Texas, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years accounts payable experience, preferably in small to medium sized company.
• Proficient with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Pro.
• Familiarity with AP automation tools (CKS Solutions) and 3rd party platforms (Paymeran).

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices daily with 3-way matching for accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies with appropriate personnel to obtain timely approvals.
• Pre-audit invoices, bills, and checks to ensure accuracy prior to payment.
• Perform month-end reconciliations and journal entries including intercompany matches and allocations.
• Maintain SAP vendor database and update vendor master records (terms, contact information, W-9).

Your day-to-day
Bring your curiosity to work as our next Accounts Payable Specialist. You will be part of our Finance team reporting to the Accounting Manager. In this role, your mission is to Processes vendor invoices for five locations and vendor payments accurately and timely. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

• Processes supplier invoices daily with 3-way matching to ensure accurate and legitimate charges.
• Works with appropriate company personnel to resolve discrepancies and to obtain approvals in a timely manner.
• Collects and verify invoices, bills, and checks by performing pre-audits to ensure both accuracy and appropriateness prior to payment
• Performs month end account reconciliations and journal entries including intercompany match, allocations, accruals and prepaids accounts.
• Maintains the SAP vendor database; adding and modifying the vendor master records including, terms, contact information and W-9 documentation

Your Skills And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years accounts payable experience, preferably in a small to medium sized company.Proficient with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) and Adobe Pro.
• Familiarity with Automation tools, such as CKS Solutions or any AP Automations.
• Familiarity with 3rd party payment platforms, such as Paymeran.

This position is classified locally as hourly. The actual annual gross base salary range for this position is $27.65 to $41.48 per hour. The actual compensation package will be determined based on objective, gender‑neutral criteria, including but not limited to the qualifications, experience, and skills demonstrated during the recruitment process.
