What you’re applying for

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to help drive automation, transparency, and greater efficiency within the company’s financial ecosystem.

You’ll become a trusted partner by handling the processing of invoices supporting core teams across the company, including Finance, Claims, Underwriting, Growth, Customer Experience, and Business Development.

In this role you’ll

Play a major role in the daily financial operations of the company via invoice processing, settlement runs, and communications with vendors and cross-functional teams

Act as a key contributor to the accounts payable function, including bank reconciliations, liability reconciliations, ledger expense reviews, and additional FinOps processes

Scale our month-end close process and improve our efficiency & timing

What you’ll need

1+ years experience in accounts payable, with noteworthy accomplishments

Workday ERP system experience preferred

Advanced Excel skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail

Adept relationship-building skills, including across internal and external teams

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week

Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $31.25-$36.06 hourly plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
