Accurate Personnel is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. This position will manage accounts payable activities, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure invoices and payments are processed efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of AP experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and follow-up skills. This full-time role offers medical, dental, and vision benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule in Houston.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable records and transactions.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter and update financial information in accounting systems.
• Assist with invoice follow-up, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding accounts payable matters.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage and track financial information.
• Support the Accounting Department with additional duties as assigned.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST IN HOUSTON, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This individual will support the Accounting Department by managing accounts payable activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring invoices and payments are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate has previous accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• $28.00/hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Located in Houston, Texas

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable records and transactions
• Review invoices and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and update financial information using accounting systems
• Assist with invoice follow-up, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
