Addison Group is supporting the search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing team in a fast-paced, high-volume AP environment. With ongoing expansion and process improvements, including AI-driven AP solutions and an upcoming ERP transition—this role will play a key part in managing invoice processing and electronic payment integrations.

This role is 100% onsite in Golden Valley, MN requiring candidates to reside locally in MN or Western WI to be eligible for consideration.

This role requires full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, including a strong understanding of proper GL entries, AP-related journal entries, and a solid grasp of debits, credits, accruals, and liabilities. All applicants will be required to complete a brief AP assessment as part of the evaluation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume invoices from the AP inbox (~4,600/month)
• Perform three-way matching and ensure purchase order (PO) compliance
• Code and post invoices to the correct GL accounts and conduct reconciliations
• Handle accruals and multiple touchpoints within the AP workflow
• Support the integration of Payment Manager for electronic payments
• Assist with AI-based AP technology implementations and process automation

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong experience with PO-based invoices and three-way matching
• Ability to thrive in a very high-volume AP environment
• Organized and self-motivated to meet deadlines
