Iowa Department of Natural Resources is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist (Accounting Technician 2) in Des Moines to ensure timely, accurate processing of expenditure claims, audit PCard statements, and reconcile cash receipts in Iowa Advantage.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED with four years of clerical accounting experience.
• Post-high school accounting coursework totaling ~20 semester hours or more.
• Any equivalent combination of qualifying education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, audit, code and enter expenditure claims for payment in Iowa Advantage.
• Receive, audit, track all PCard statements and documentation, upload payments.
• Review, reconcile and enter department receipts in Iowa Advantage.
• Answer inquiries from staff, vendors and supervisors regarding payments.
