Job summary

McKinney Properties, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team in managing invoices, payments, and reconciliations across multifamily and student housing properties.

You will work with vendors, property teams, and corporate staff to ensure accurate financial records and timely processing, while supporting day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of accounting experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with real estate accounting software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, code, and post vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Assist with accounts receivable process and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and accounting schedules; reconcile accounts.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team and vendors; support audits.
