Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to support the Finance Department by processing vendor invoices, employee and contractor expense reports, and other accounts payable transactions in a fast-paced convention center environment.

You will ensure accurate invoice coding, timely processing, and proper documentation, while reconciling vendor accounts and supporting audits and County reimbursement requirements. On-site role in Broward County.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; related experience may substitute.
• 2–3 years accounts payable or accounting support experience.
• Knowledge of AP procedures, GL coding, and reconciliations.
• Experience in convention center, hospitality, event venue, or multi-department operating environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for vendors regarding invoice status and inquiries.
• Review vendor statements and process unpaid invoices promptly.
• Code invoices to GL accounts and support cost centers.
• Prepare vendor reconciliations and assist with 1099 reporting.
• Support month-end/year-end closing and audits.
