Job summary

Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to manage the end-to-end A/P workflow for our dealerships. The role requires handling invoices, payments, and reconciliations with precision.

Ideal candidates will have dealership A/P experience, strong GAAP awareness, and a proven ability to manage high-volume processing while maintaining internal controls and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Accounting (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience required.
• Dealership accounts payable experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record managing high-volume invoice processing.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable is responsible for the entire A/P process from receipt of invoice to its payment.
• Process invoices and payments with a high level of accuracy.
• Reconciles vendor statements and responds to vendor questions in a timely manner.
• Maintains controls to safeguard company assets and assists with training staff.
