Job summary

Responsibilities include vendor setup, invoice processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and coordinating with HR for payroll. Knowledge of Blackbaud Financial Edge and ERP systems is preferred; Bachelor's in Accounting or related field required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent.
• Experience in accounts payable and payroll functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with internal controls and process improvement practices.
• Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge or a similar ERP/financial management system (preferred).
• Experience with inventory accounting and inventory management systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable process including vendor setup, invoice review and coding, approval routing, and payment processing via check and ACH.
• Maintain vendor records and support IRS W-9 and 1099 reporting.
• Review expense accounts and assist with month-end accruals.
• Maintain payroll data accuracy and collaborate with HR to support payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, Massachusetts, and applicable local payroll, tax, and wage-and-hour requirements.
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process.
• Maintain accounting records for inventory transactions.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
