Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting/finance/business or equivalent accounts payable/finance experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software.

• Familiarity with the utility industry is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and process vendor invoices for electronic approval with correct PO and project codes, including credits and taxes.
• Review requisitions for PO generation with proper coding and authorization and documentation.
• Research information to provide accurate solutions to internal clients and vendors using various systems.
• Set up and maintain vendors including payment information.
• Maintain a filing system for financial information and documents.
