Job summary

Resorts World Hudson Valley in Newburgh, NY is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our on-site Finance team. The position pays $20 USD per hour and requires accuracy and reliability.

You will review invoices, ensure supporting documentation, process payments, and respond to payroll questions while supporting other departments as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma and being 18 years or older, with prior AP experience and NY Lottery license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience.
• Prior experience as an accounts payable clerk preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Lottery.
• Knowledge of standard accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for proper documentation and approval.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Set invoices up for payment.
• Answers payroll questions for team members and interacts with the payroll department on behalf of team members.
• Ensures the distribution of paychecks or arranges direct deposit programs.
