Qualifications

• 2–4 year college degree or certification, or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in accounts payable.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable systems and accounting software; ViewPoint preferred.
• Experience with internal controls around accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations to ensure timely processing of payments.
• Ensure proper AP procedures and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Maintain internal controls within AP processes.
• Supervise, train, and mentor AP staff.
• Generate AP reports regularly and on demand.
• Coordinate with accounting to align AP with financial records.
• Assist with audits related to AP and expenses.
• Review vendor payment disputes and maintain good vendor relationships.
